  1. Diluted tea tree oil applied to the insides of your nostrils using a cotton swab is another good remedy. The oil needs to be diluted as it is too strong for such sensitive areas of skin. Other than this, you should make sure that there is no crust formation in the nostrils as this could worsen the condition. Clean them regularly using a cotton swab dipped in plain water and it will help in getting rid of dry nose.

  2. Another good home remedy for dry nose is that you can stimulate the oil glands in the area to secrete more oil by inhaling steam from boiling water. You can add a few drops of sesame oil to this water before inhaling. This will help loosen skin and relieve blockages as well.

  3. Dryness of the skin in and around the nose is very common, especially among people who live in dry arid areas. Dry surroundings suck moisture out of your skin and hence dry nose. Nose is very sensitive and hence gets more affected by such climatic conditions. You could boil some water and keep this in an open container in the room you sleep in for a few nights. This will help keep the surrounding air humid and prevent your nose from drying up.
