Water is essential for all animals and plants and human beings are no exception to this rule. We need to drink lots of water to keep our body system in top gear. All the cells require water. Cells import nutrients and remove the waste products and water helps out in this process by being the delivery system, helping import nutrients and removing wastes. Cells will get clogged without water. Also dehydration sets in and this could result in death in severe cases.

Maintenance of Muscles: Muscles cells function well if they receive sufficient water. They are able to function longer without tiring.Your muscles require more water to remain strong, if the exercise workout is outside in the heat.

Proper Functioning of Nerves: Messages are transmitted from and to our brain through nerve cells. For this electrolytes are required. Drinking water helps in maintaining electrolytes at their proper level for proper nerve functioning.

Proper Digestion: Water is good for digestion. It keeps the gastrointestinal tract in proper shape. After some food intake it is advisable to drink water.

Proper Kidney Function: Plenty of water is required for proper kidney functions. One can pass much urine, which removes the waste products in the body system.

Eyes and Mouth are Protected: Water helps prevent dryness of the mouth. Lips also remain soft and supple. Also water can be used to wash the eyes and remove the dirt and dust from them.

Flexibility of Joints: Joints remain flexible as the muscle functioning improves when one drinks plenty of water.

Removal of toxins: Toxins are removed from the body if one drinks lots of water. The kidney is able to flush out the toxins.

Improved Complexion: One needs to drink plenty of water for a smooth and healthy skin. After all, if your bodily functions are in goods shape, your health also will be good. Good health reflects in your complexion. You will have a healthy glow and a clear complexion.

Organs are in good shape: Your body organs are also in good shape if you drink plenty of water. Water is essential for proper functioning of cells, which in turn ensures that your organs are in proper shape.
