Ugly looking toenails are affected by fungus. Nail fungus is very common in worldwide. Toenail fungus is also known as Onychomycosis. It affects the fingernails as well as toenails. Fungus are found in those place which are warm and moist. Constantly wearing shoes can also cause fungus to your toenails.

Home Cure for Toenail Fungus :-
Vinegar:- Fill basin in a warm water. Add apple cedar vinegar to it. For about 20 minutes, soak your toenails into this solution. Wipe it thoroughly with towel and then with absorbent paper. Do this twice in a day.

Tea tree oil:- It acts as an antiseptic. Take a cotton ball, dip it into tea tree oil. Apply it on the affected toenails. It is one of the best effective home cure for fungus toenail.

Listerine:- Listerine is a mouthwash. Soak the affected toenails in listerine for about 15 minutes twice in a day. It will help in eradicating the fungus. It is one the best home remedy to prevent toenail fungus

Alcohol:- Soak the affected toenails in an alcohol for about 15 minutes. Dry thoroughly by using absorbent paper.

Hydrogen peroxide:- For about 20 minutes, soak the affected toenails in it. You may find the solution bit harsh but it is very effective to eradicate the toenail fungus. Wipe your toenails with the help of the absorbent paper.

Vicks Vaporub:- Vicks stop the growth of the fungus but it does not eliminate it. One can use vicks until the infected toenails grows out and a new one replace it. Generally it is not very effective but if you want , you can go ahead.

How to Treat Nail Fungus With Hydrogen Peroxide
A majority of people have known to have success in getting rid of their nail fungus just by treating the infected nails with hydrogen peroxide. Treating nail fungus with hydrogen peroxide is one of the most easiest treatments available and the best part is, it is effective and reasonably light on the pocket. Having nail fungus can be painful and at times can make quite a messy look. If your nail fungus is bothering you, and would like to go for a easy and simple option, then treating your infected nail with hydrogen peroxide can just about be your right option.

Steps for Using Hydrogen peroxide for treating Nail Fungus
Follow these simple steps to treat your nail fungus:

  • The only thing that you need to treat your nail fungus is hydrogen peroxide
  • Hydrogen peroxide can be used in two ways to treat the infected nail. Now, which kind of treatment you need to choose depends upon the number of nails that are infected with fungus
  • If you are lucky to have just one nail infected with the fungus, then all you need to do is simply rinse the infected nail and dry it thoroughly. Now, take a small cotton pad and soak its centre with hydrogen peroxide. Place this soaked cotton pad onto the nail fungus
  • Hold this pad on the infected nail for about 3-5 minutes. Later, dry the nail with a clean, dry and fresh cotton pad
  • Until the nail fungus vanishes, this step has to be followed religiously for at least 5 times in a day
  • It is advised that you continue to do the same procedure even after treating the nail fungus. This will prevent it from coming back
  • If more than one nail is infected with fungus, then you need to make a solution of 1 portion of water mixed with 1 portion of hydrogen peroxide. Now, soak your nails in this solution for about 15 minutes. However, make sure that you dry the nails completely. This procedure has to be repeated for about 6 weeks in a stretch

By following these simple steps, it can be quite possible to treat your nail fungus with hydrogen peroxide.
