Having a bath these days is a sophisticated affair. Most people ensure that their bathrooms have modern and sophisticated fittings. People spend hours in their bathroom, either lazing out in a bathtub or having a refreshing shower with shower gel. Soaps are considered outmoded.

The use of shower gels has become prevalent these days. People prefer having a shower as they feel it is more convenient. Since most people are in a hurry these days, a quick shower is an easy way to get rid of daily dirt on the body. Naturally, a shower means that a shower gel is also required. Shower gels are considered a better option than soaps these days. The aroma of shower gel and hygienic use of the gel has made it endearing to the people.

15 Effective Ways of using Shower Gel

Now, one must know how to use a shower gel. Here are a few ways that one could try out for outstanding results:

    • One must shower very sparingly to get the maximum benefit from the money spent on purchasing it.
    • Apply the gel on a washcloth or a loofah or pouf and rub to form lather or suds. Then rinse your body thoroughly with plain water.
    • Also, make sure that the body is wet with the shower’s warm water.
    • Let the loofah contain the gel and allow bubbles to appear.
    • Then gently apply the gel to the body and spread it on all parts except the face.
    • Avoid the gel entering the eyes as it can cause a burning sensation.
    • Clean all your private parts with the gel.
    • Avoid scrubbing very hard as it could affect the skin. One must avoid using the shower gel on one’s face as it causes dryness of one’s delicate skin. It is advisable to use a facial cleanser.
    • One must lather one’s legs and underarms with shower gel before trying to shave. One must rinse the body thoroughly to avoid the residue of shower gel.
    • After lathering and applying the gel, one must rinse off with clean water.
    • One can go in for natural shower gel such as Burt’s Bee, which is naturally nourishing milk, as well as Shea butter consisting of body wash. These products do not contain any artificial products or any animal products.
    • One can make a shower gel at home made up of essential oils and natural ingredients. It is, no doubt, a cheaper proposition.
    • In case one’s skin is very sensitive, then it is better to make use of shower gel that is unscented.
    • Do not use a loofah to cleanse one’s face as these loofahs collect bacteria over some time.
    • Use a shower gel that is aromatic as it would keep the body away from infections and germs.

For a refreshing and clean bath, go in for a shower gel. One will enjoy the aroma and keep the body germ free as well as hygienically clean.

10 valuable tips to set one’s hair after shower

No doubt, one enjoys a shower. It is bliss all the way through, but how does one manage the wet hair. Naturally, just enjoying the shower is not enough; one must also know how to take care of one’s hair after the storm. Many times, the hair becomes unmanageable after it is wet. One has to pay much attention to it to give it a proper shape or rather style it.

The question that arises before us is how to manage our hair after taking a shower? Let us see how we can resolve this dilemma.

Tips for managing one’s hair after a shower

    • Do not tie your hair in a towel after wash.
    • naturally dry the hair.
    • Turn one’s head upside down and gently stroke down the hair to eliminate the knots.
    • If you want to apply anything on the hair, such as conditioner, etc., then gently massage the content on the hair. Of course, you would need to rinse it off and again remove the knots in case there are any.
    • It is advisable, of course, to avoid products that are sticky as they will leave residue behind and thus give the hair a repulsive look as well as a bad feeling in case one wants to touch the hair.
    • One must make use of a comb that is wide- toothed to get rid of the knots.
    • Blow dry the hair to style it in the way you want it.
    • Brush the hair properly.
    • To straighten the hair, pull the hair strands straight and then blow-dry.
    • In case one wants a wavy look, then one needs to brush it upwards.

    Other valuable suggestions

    • One can also use balsam, a hair conditioner, to have soft and easily manageable hair. Such hair can be set very easily.
    • The conditioner helps to ensure that the hair’s texture is good and is devoid of any hair-splits that can make the hair look bad.
    • For a permed look, braid the wet hair overnight and the next day, undo the braids. One can also use curlers to curl one’s hair. One can also tie the hair into a ponytail, and the next day one will have curly hair.
    • Herbal products are available in the market to set one’s hair.

Washing hair maybe all that easy, but styling it later is no doubt very difficult. The hair has to be dried properly and then styled according to one’s desire. The hair must appear neat and tidy and, of course, attractive. Gorgeous hair draws much attention.
