Coconut oil Benefits Candida
Coconut oil is used in candida cleanse due to the following properties of coconut:

1. Natural Antifungal –

  • Caprylic acid, 10-carbon saturated fatty acid present in coconut oil helps clear yeast colonies
  • This fatty acid helps prevent growth and replication of yeast population when it comes into contact with them
  • The cell membrane of yeast cells are disrupted by caprylic acid which are the main cause of vaginal yeast infection, thrush and jock itch

2. Coconut oil acts as sugar substitute –

  • Since, sugar facilitates growth of fungus, coconut oil is a wonderful agent as it allows you to control the food source for the growing yeast colony
  • Coconut oil acts as a natural sweetener and helps boost energy, thus reduces your requirement for carbohydrates, which makes it perfect for this use

Candida feed off things such as simple carbohydrate and sugars. Hence, by taking control over yeast’s access to food, the bad fungus gets starved and thus leading to their death.

3. Coconut oil enhances immune system –

  • Lauric acid, 12-carbon saturated fatty acid and caprylic acid present in coconut oil helps improve the immune system of the body
  • Lauric acid is also found in breast milk, which is otherwise rarely found

The above properties of coconut oil helps cure yeast infection, but you have to be sure that you take this oil in a proper way, because if you let microorganisms die in the stomach, you are giving rise to other conditions in your body.

If you have taken its high dose, you are allowing excess detox at once, which leads your body to deal with excess dead microorganisms and might get a mild toxic shock. Thus, it is advised to use coconut oil candida cleanse on a spread out timetable. Gradually, you can increase its dosage from 1 tablespoon to 3 tablespoons a day.

  • Internally – You can start with 1 tablespoon a day for a week either in preparing food or adding to smoothies or by mixing in hot tea or coffee
